Installation Guide for Marble

Complete installation guide for Orion OS on the Poco F5 (Marble). Follow these steps for a clean and stable install.

Info: Marble ships with a GApps build for Android 16. A Vanilla build is also available for Android 15.

Before you start

  • Keep your device above 50% battery.
  • Back up your data — this process wipes everything.
  • Download the ROM and matching firmware to internal storage.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Boot to Recovery

  1. Ensure a custom recovery (TWRP / OrangeFox) is installed.
  2. Power off, then hold Volume Up + Power to enter recovery.

Step 2: Flash Firmware

  1. From Install, flash the latest HyperOS firmware for Marble.
  2. Stay in recovery — do not reboot yet.

Step 3: Flash Orion OS

  1. Go to Install and select:
    • OrionOS-16.0-Ozone-marble-Official-GApps-xxx.zip
  2. Swipe to confirm. Wait for the flash to finish (2–5 minutes).

Step 4: Format Data

Warning: Formatting data removes all user content. Confirm your backup first.

  1. Open Wipe → Format Data.
  2. Type yes to confirm and wait for completion.

Step 5: First Boot

  1. Reboot to System.
  2. Let the first boot finish (around 5–10 minutes).
  3. Run the setup wizard and explore your new ROM.
